These photos were all taken in The Netherlands over the past three years. I am half Dutch and as a result I travel over every summer leading to plenty of opportunities to take photos. Below you will see a selection of landscapes and cityscapes that for me best represent the country without getting too stereotypical, aside from the windmills of course. While new additions may not be too frequent it is always possible that I will find a new one when looking at past photos.

Sassenpoort in de Herfst

Zwolle City Centre
A photo of one of the entrances to the city centre of Zwolle, in the province of Overijssel. The tower in the background is the “Peperbus”, part of a medieval church, and one of Zwolle’s best known landmarks.

Delft Canal and Oude Kerk
Title EN: Delft Canal and Old Church. This photo was taken in Delft and has many features of Dutch culture both old and new. The church in the middle is called the “Oude Kerk” or “Old Church” and dates back to the 13th century.
